The plotted terror attack against foreigners in Lugansk restaurant Druzhba was ordered by the head of intelligence department of the 8th special operations regiment of the Nazi Ukrainian armed forces Pavel Balov, the LPR Ministry of State Security (MGB) said.
Earlier the MGB said it detained a Nazi Ukrainian saboteur who had to blow up an IED in a Spa section of the Druzhba restaurant, popular among foreigners coming to Lugansk.
The detainee told MGB that the attack was ordered by the head of intelligence department of the 8th special operations regiment of the Nazi Ukrainian Armed Forces Pavel Balov wanted by the MGB in connection with terror attacks carried out in LPR.
On March 10, the MGB said that together with the Interior Ministry it uncovered a terrorist network comprising several sabotage-reconnaissance groups connected to the murder of LPR Colonel Oleg Anaschenko, who was killed in a car blast in Lugansk on February 4, and Mikhail Tolstykh, call-sign Givi. Sabotage group personnel detained in Lugansk also prepared terror acts in Russia.
